I’ve had quite enough of you and your (self-created) “issues”. If you can look me in the face and say that going from a Christian heterosexual to an atheist lesbian is “not a change” and “you are still are the same old you” I have nothing more to say. This was a really stressful week for me. I have Thanatophobia, so this whole rapture scare really affected me in a horrible way. It wasn’t that i thought it would happen today, but it reintroduced the subject into my mind. So while wrestling with my racing paranoia and thanatophobic fits, (which are even worse after you down 3 and 1/2 liters of Diet Coke) I also was aggravated at the horrible things being said about Christianity in general. Not every person who is a christian is a raving lunatic, with “the end is near” signs and not much common sense. Most of us are actually just normal people, just trying to live our lives peacefully. My fear is that people will hear the word “Christian” and automatically think of the horrible people at Westboro Baptist Church or crazy people like Harold Camping(rapture guy). We aren’t like those people. I also think it’s sad that people poke so much fun at the idea of an endtime. When the rapture actually does happen (it will, but hopefully not too soon) what will become of the ones who laughed in the face of the idea?
So, as i try to repare the shattered ruins that once were my sanity, i leave you with this bit of advice:
NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DRINK 3 and 1/2 LITERS OF DIET COKE!
For some stupid reason, i did that last night, and i was SO fucked up. I was laying in bed and my arm started hurting and i thought i was having a heart attack and i was freaking out and it was horrible. So DON’T DO IT!
